What is the building capacity?
Our Indoor Clubhouse can accommodate 150 Guests.

Do you rent tents?
No, but we provide a 10 x 20 ft. tented structure in the Lakeside Meadow.

Will there be another wedding the same day?
We are committed to making each event special and do not currently host multiple weddings simultaneously.

Are there additional overnight accommodations nearby?
Yes. Please check with the Property Manager for information on Cabin or Campsite availability. The Comfort Inn is less than .5 miles away and offers bulk room rates around $100 per night. There are other hotel options as well. See RESOURCES

Can we hold an event in Winter?
We have special packages and reasonable rates for winter rentals (December – March).  Access to the Clubhouse is weather dependent but usually accessible. Get in touch if you would like more information

Do we have to use the caterer, DJ, baker, photographer, etc. that you choose?
At EIGHTY ACRES we want to give you the flexibility to pick all of your favorite things for your big day. See RESOURCES if you need suggestions.
How will the tables, chairs, etc. be arranged for my event? All rental equipment will be available for you to arrange when you arrive.

When will my deposit be returned?
Five business days subject to post event walk-through. All trash, recycling, and decorations must be removed from the building and grounds and disposed of in the designed receptacles.

Are there staff members to assist with set-up and strike?
In order to provide a competitive value we do not currently offer coordination staff.

If we choose the one day rate, will we be able to access the location early to rehearse our ceremony?
Unfortunately, no. If you elect the Saturday only rental, our venue will likely also be rented the evening before for another event. Couples wishing to hold their ceremony onsite on a Saturday should elect the Friday/Saturday rental period for this reason and are welcome to use the venue for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. It is the responsibility of the couple to clean and remove any trash following the rehearsal dinner. 

What is the event / lodging clean-up process?
Generally speaking the expectation is that you return the property to the condition it was in when you arrived. Couples reserving the evening before their wedding for a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are responsible for clean-up and trash removal following the rehearsal dinner.

If our ceremony is also at EIGHTY ACRES, are additional chairs available for seating?
Yes, for an additional fee. Two and three day rentals include 100 chairs. Let us know if you need more and we can add that to your rental.

Can we have fireworks on the property?
Sure! Just let our property manager know and be sure to observe the safety precautions related to fire that are specified in your contract.

Can we take photos around the farm on our wedding day?
Sure! Just ask us and we would be happy to make recommendations.

How many cars can be parked on the property?
Ample parking available for any sized event

Can we nail decorations to the walls or hang things like streamers or lanterns from the beams?
We encourage your most creative decoration ideas -- however we ask that all decorations be attached with masking putty; we do not allow the use of anything that would permanently alter or damage the site. This excludes the use of nails, tacks, staples or cellophane tape.

Which items should we bring to attach decorations?
We recommend bringing masking putty, string, and rope. As nails, tacks, hooks, and tape are prohibited.

Is there a deposit?
Yes. Typically one-third of Total Event Rental

When are the additional payments due?
When the contract is signed, the payment schedule is clearly explained along with reminder dates for when payments are due

Do you offer straight tables instead of round?
We have a limited number of straight tables onsite that can be used for your gift table, head table, etc.

Do you have an onsite kitchen?
We have a large commercial catering kitchen that you are welcome to use.

Are trash cans and trash bags provided?
Yes. EIGHTY ACRES staff will empty trash cans and replace trash bags throughout your event as needed, but it will be the responsibility of the couple to clean up and remove any trash.

Do you provided table linens, cups, silverware, etc?
No. EIGHTY ACRES provides an awesome venue. Please bring anything else you might need, or request that your caterer provide them.

Can we dance all night?
The rental period ends at 2:00am for a one-day rental.  If you are renting the following day, you may use the clubhouse all night but to be a good neighbor, music must be turned down by midnight.

We are using a rental company. Can they drop items off or pick them up outside of the rental period?
Yes for an additional coordination fee of $200.00 Please advise your vendors of this policy.

Are candles allowed?
Yes, we encourage you to get creative with ambiance

What happens in case of rain?
Our Fabulous Clubhouse is a great alternative to an outdoor site and can accommodate 150 guests comfortably.

Is it possible to seat 9 to a table?
In a pinch, yes if one is a child, but we would not recommend it for your guests comfort.
